Guests are generally pleased with the cottage's immaculate condition, comfortable furnishings, and peaceful yet convenient location close to the beach and town. The property's decor and outdoor area have received particular praise. While some minor maintenance issues have been noted, these do not significantly detract from the overall positive experience.
The property is frequently described as very clean and well-presented, with only a few isolated comments about cobwebs and remnants from previous guests, suggesting that cleanliness is generally of a high standard.
The location is consistently lauded for being perfect, peaceful, and quiet, yet within a short walk to the town centre and beach, indicating a highly desirable setting.
Reviews often mention the property as comfortable and cosy, with spacious interiors and a relaxing atmosphere, indicating a high level of comfort for guests.
While the property is generally well-equipped, several reviews point out minor maintenance issues such as shower heads and taps needing attention, and a communal laundry closure, which suggests room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.
Guests have appreciated welcome gifts such as prosecco and Welsh cakes, which indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. However, as not all reviews mention gifts, and to ensure future guests' expectations are managed, it is noted that such gestures, while common, are not guaranteed.

Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of Holy Island. It’s truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag). Watersports, bathing, sailing and windsurfing are the main activities in the summer months and golfers will enjoy the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It’s a great place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse rspb Reserve and lots of rock pools and cliff top walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the ferry. The Maritime Museum in Holyhead has an excellent cafe and the beautiful Holyhead Breakwater Country Park has walks for you to enjoy. Further afield there is the stunning Newborough with its excellent woodland and beach and Beaumaris with its town and castle. A great location with plenty to see and do!

Location excellent. Equipment & comfort excellent. But deeper cleaning was needed & a lack of maintenance in so much expelair still not working in upstairs bathroom where there is no opening window. Various lights not working & tumble dryer so full of fluff caused the fire alarm to go off. Shame but we didn't allow it to spoil our holiday
