The property is described as clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a particular appreciation for the modern kitchen appliances and cosy outdoor spaces. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall sentiment is positive, with many guests returning for multiple stays.

The property generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with guests noting the clean linen and well-prepared kitchen. However, some reviews mention the presence of cobwebs and missing blind slats, suggesting room for improvement in certain areas.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the beach, tranquillity away from traffic, and ease of access to local shops and eateries. It serves as an excellent base for exploring Anglesey and enjoying the natural beauty of the area.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with several positive comments about the beds and the quiet, pleasant surroundings. Some guests suggest that additional seating and updated bathroom fixtures could enhance comfort further.

The property's facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the modern kitchen appliances. However, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as broken blinds, an oven that is difficult to use, and a need for more oven trays, which affects the score.

While guests appreciate the overall experience, there is insufficient information regarding specific thoughtful gestures or gifts provided by the hosts. Therefore, a score cannot be accurately assigned to this category.

About this property

What a fabulous spot Tyn towyn is, a short walk to the local beach, pubs and restaurants of Trearddur Bay. The development has been finished to an extremely high standard and no stone has gone unturned.

This bright, modern and well thought out cottage is named after the colour of its front door ‘Light Blue House’. It’s the perfect spot to explore the delights of Anglesey from.

The open plan living area has sitting room with comfy sofas to curl up in, flats screen TV and a warming electric fire to keep you cosy in the winter months.

A well equipped kitchen/dining area with electric oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. Dining around the island is a relaxed way to enjoy an evening meal.

Trearddur Bay is situated on the western shore of Holy Island. It’s truly beautiful - a great sweep of low grassy coastline indented with rocky coves and fine sandy beaches (European Blue Flag). Watersports, bathing, sailing and windsurfing are the main activities in the summer months and golfers will enjoy the excellent Holyhead 18 hole links golf course. It’s a great place for nature lovers with renowned birdwatching at the South Stack Lighthouse rspb Reserve and lots of rock pools and cliff top walks to explore. There are shops, pubs and restaurants in Trearddur Bay itself and nearby Holyhead offers a wider range of amenities, including a very good leisure centre, an interesting harbour front, a marina, the world’s second longest breakwater and exciting day trips to Dublin on the ferry. The Maritime Museum in Holyhead has an excellent cafe and the beautiful Holyhead Breakwater Country Park has walks for you to enjoy. Further afield there is the stunning Newborough with its excellent woodland and beach and Beaumaris with its town and castle. A great location with plenty to see and do!

We took our Grandchildren aged 5 and 10, they loved the cottage too. Perfectly placed for a 5 minute stroll to the beach , everything was just perfect. I guess the only disappointment was the councils decision to close the public loos early, I understood they were open till end of Oct but we were there from the 28th. Other than that I have to say we will definitely aim to book, the same cottage again

The accommodation is so clean and comfortable and the outside area is lovely to enjoy and sit in the sun, so peaceful. Any minor problems are dealt with promptly. The cottages are only a few minutes walk from the beach and restaurants.

Gets lots of sun in the afternoon so you can relax after your day out. Perfect place to go cycling from or walking. Good kitchen facilities, although in need of a few more oven trays if you like to use the oven. Lots of storage both up and down stairs. Really good shower which was definitely welcomed after a long bike ride. Comfortable beds with TV in each room. Good wi-fi connection. We would definitely recommend this cottage for 2 people, not sure if you would be a little cramped if it was 4 adults staying there. Beach within walking distance. Good facilities close by. Has all the big supermarkets within a short driving distance. Local shops and cafes within walking distance, although they were very busy. Further back from the beach are other not so big cafes which were really nice. Worth visiting the South Stack cafe with it's beautiful views over the sea. Also worth a visit to the White Eagle pub which is around 3 miles away. Good beers, didn't try the food as a little expensive, didn't do sandwiches but if you want a good meal out, the menu looked really good. Thank you for a fabulous holiday.
