Guests say

Guests have enjoyed stays at 69 The Paddocks, praising its beautiful accommodation, quiet location, and proximity to the beach. The lodge is appreciated for its comfort, spaciousness, and sun trap veranda. While Wi-Fi connectivity issues and some maintenance concerns were noted, the property's overall charm and the helpfulness of the owner are frequently highlighted. The local area offers lovely walks, friendly community vibes, and is a great base for exploring nearby coastal towns.

Most guests found the lodge clean and tidy, contributing to a comfortable stay. However, a few guests mentioned issues such as dust and unclean areas, which suggests room for improvement in housekeeping.

The lodge's location is highly regarded for its proximity to the beach and local attractions. Despite some concerns about the accuracy of the beach's distance and occasional noise from nearby roads, the location is generally seen as ideal for a beach holiday and exploring the area.

Guests consistently describe the lodge as comfortable, spacious, and well-furnished, providing a 'home away from home' experience. Comfortable beds and a relaxing outdoor decking area contribute to the high comfort levels reported.

The lodge is equipped with a range of facilities that guests appreciate, including a well-equipped kitchen and a large TV. However, there are several mentions of Wi-Fi issues and suggestions for additional items, indicating that while facilities are generally good, there is scope for enhancement.

While guests have mentioned receiving a bottle of wine and prompt responses from the owner, there is insufficient information to assess the consistency of thoughtful gestures across all stays. Therefore, it is not possible to provide a score for thoughtfulness.

We booked a 3 bed lodge so we could choose where to sleep, only the main bed was made up, the other singles were left unmade and nothing like the photos shown on line, it also looked like it had not been cleaned as it had hair and dust everywhere, we had to hoover ourselves. The on-suite shower was constantly running hot so you risked burning yourself also the rubber strip from the shower door was broken and just left propped up in the shower. The Lodge unfortunately borders a main road, which is used as a race track, there is another road along the other side of it and a foot path for the park running along the front of the lodge, so whenever people came back from the pub/show bar late at night it could be quite noisy, not ideal as this set the dog off barking. The decking was a lovely sun trap and furniture nice to sit out on but on the whole we were disappointed as this is not Sykes usual standard.

everything you needed was supplied including comfortable furniture out on the decking to relax on. instruction booklets were supplied for everything in the lodge except the combined washer/dryer (having never used one before I wasn't able to use the machine provided-but as I was on holiday I decided the washing could wait anyway lol)) the lodge is situated just metres away from main reception, and a very short walk to the local shops and takeaways. Also just a few minutes walk to the arcade and swimming pool and the main Club house where we enjoyed the entertainment provided and even had a game of bingo. The beach is wonderful and just over a 5 minute walk from the lodge, and if you've got a car then take a trip into Tenby itself for a great day out, it's beautiful. I'd definataly stay here again and have recommended it already to others. The owner-Elaine sent me a welcome message on our journey to the lodge explaining everything and it gave us assurance too that she was available if we had any concerns or problems during out stay, but we didn't as the holiday and the lodge was perfect.
