Guests say

Guests have enjoyed stays at 69 The Paddocks, praising its beautiful accommodation, quiet location, and proximity to the beach. The lodge is appreciated for its sun trap veranda, comfortable furnishings, and well-equipped amenities. While Wi-Fi connectivity issues and some maintenance concerns were noted, the overall experience has been positive, with many looking forward to future visits.

Most guests found the lodge to be clean and tidy, with a spotless appearance upon arrival. However, a few guests mentioned dust and unclean aspects, which slightly lowers the score.

The lodge's location is generally well-regarded for its proximity to the beach and local attractions. Some guests were disappointed with the distance to the beach and the noise from nearby roads, but the location remains a highlight for most.

The lodge is consistently described as comfortable, spacious, and well-furnished, providing a home away from home experience. Comfortable beds and a warm environment contributed to a high level of satisfaction.

Facilities are mostly praised for being comprehensive and well-functioning, with a few suggestions for improvement. Issues with Wi-Fi stability and some maintenance problems, such as a leak and shower temperature control, have been reported.

While guests have mentioned receiving a bottle of wine and prompt responses from the owner, there is not enough consistent information about thoughtful gestures or gifts to accurately score this category.

Poor beds, cheap unironed, crumpled bedding. Distance to beach misleading on the map. Issues with the ensuite shower too hot then too cold Plus side lovely and warm and we had lovely weather.
