Suitable for a couple or a couple and a young child, it has plenty of space for all, including your two pets who will love spending time outside with you. There is a relaxing seating area outside where you can enjoy the sounds of nature and there's a lovely babbling stream going past too. This luxurious semi-detached property has an attractive looking bedroom, a comfortable lounge and a well-equipped kitchen. There are enough amenities available within a few miles including dog friendly pubs. The market town of Carmarthen is just under 15 minutes away where there's an abundance of shops, restaurants and supermarkets and a wonderful indoor market full of local businesses. Attractions in the area include Gwili Steam Railway, Carmarthen Musuem and beautiful dog friendly beaches in Llansteffan and Pendine.

We really enjoyed our stay.The owners were very accomadating and very nice and helpful.High trees was an excellent place for a quiet retreat. Very clean and very well equipped home from home.What an amazing find.We would highly recommend this place. Amazing location so near to so many beautiful places to visit.The steam railway was a short drive away.Seeing lots of diffrent birds ie woodpeckers feeding every day on the bird feeders was a delight.We would highly recommend High trees.We are already planning our next visit to this amazing place.Well done High trees is a credit to the owners Vicky and Mark.

Beware that a lot of the footpaths on the OS map have been blocked off locally, although we had a lovely walk straight from the cottage which worked fine. Cottage is lovely and clean and has a generous amount of space but the mobile phone signal and TV signal were non-existent whilst we were there.

Clean, comfortable well furnished cottage. Ideal base for exploring the area. Pulling off the drive onto the road which has a 50 mph limit can be daunting until I mastered how to reverse onto the drive when parking.
