Guests say

Llygaid Yr Haul is a well-regarded cottage in Carmarthen, offering stunning sea views and a range of amenities including a hot tub and sauna. Guests appreciate the friendly caretaker and the property's relaxing atmosphere, despite some noting areas for improvement in maintenance and cleanliness. The location is praised for its beauty, though the steep access may challenge some.

The property generally receives positive remarks for cleanliness, but some guests have noted issues such as dust, cobwebs, and a lack of thorough cleaning in certain areas. These instances seem to be exceptions rather than the rule.

The location is highly praised for its beautiful sea views and proximity to the beach, although the steep access road is noted as a potential difficulty for those with mobility issues or for certain vehicles.

Guests find the apartment comfortable and value the underfloor heating, though there are comments about the bed's softness and the heating being difficult to adjust. The comfort of the property is generally well-received.

The hot tub, sauna, and views are highlights, but several guests report maintenance issues with the hot tub jets, sauna operation, and lighting. The caretaker's responsiveness is a positive aspect, but recurring maintenance issues affect the score.

There is insufficient information to assess thoughtfulness as there are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches provided by the owner that would indicate a level of thoughtfulness towards guests.

This was the main reason we booked. Apartment's on both sides Hot tub's worked and they had the pleasure of using there's . Received an email 10 days before we arrived from Sykes stating this ,when I tried to contact them for some compensation on the booking price ,nothing came of it very disappointing. Another thing wa the Decking on the balcony is very slippery and needs urgent attention before someone gets badly hurt

    5. Generally a nice apartment away from the rat race. The view from the apartment is spectacular and when the sun did come out you could see Lundy Island & the north Devon coast. The shower is was nice and powerful. Use of the hot tub at night was great. However, It was the little things that were a drawback. The grouting in the shower is starting to show its age. No instructions for the hot tub & some of nozzles were not pushing out any water. Perhaps it just needs a service. The decking needs a good power / steam wash to remove some of the greasiness, especially between the houses as it get slippery when wet. I know it was October when we stayed but its the little things that make a difference. The table & chairs outside again showing their age. Instructions on how to use the underfloor heating would have been helpful. May seem nit-picky but in comparison to some of our other stays elsewhere it just needs some TLC.

The views, the hot tub and the sauna were all amazing. The flat itself is lovely and well maintained. The apartment was clean but I did notice that on the bathroom door was a bit grubby on the top indent, just needs a bit of a scrub. The hot tub wasn't ready for us when we arrived and we had to wait 6 hours for it to warm up. However, I would rather know its clean water we will be sitting in. Stan came round every day to add chemicals to maintain it. The bed is very soft and the pillows are quite flat, I would have taken my own in hindsight. The place is very nice and definitely worth a trip. It will go down as one of the best we have stayed at. Pendine is a very quiet place and for us it ticked the boxes of some much needed R&R.
