Llandeilo 8.9 miles. Taf Cottage is a lovely stone-front barn conversion in a courtyard of cottages. It’s a brilliant property for a family gathering or reunion of friends, where you can relax in the Welsh countryside surrounded by marvellous views. Step into the property and head into the sitting room, the ideal spot to gather in the evenings, with a woodburning stove to keep you warm on those chillier evenings, fit with traditional wooden beams and ample seating for everyone to gather with a hot cup of tea, not forgetting an accompanying Welsh cake. Just around the corner you can find the kitchen, this open-plan arrangement is the perfect layout for dinner parties; the social hub of the house, fit with all the appliances you could possibly need to create that perfect family-favourite meal. Head down the corridor where you can find the three bedrooms, with the king-size and twin featuring beautiful stone walls, they add to the traditional character of the property. Once you’ve unpacked into the bedrooms, put on your swimwear and head outside, where you will be greeted by your own private patio hosting a hot tub; the ideal spot to end a day of exploring the landscapes of Wales. The local area adds to the tranquillity of the property, a quiet and quaint village on the edge of the largest tributary of the River Tywi in south Wales; Afon Cothi.
