Guests consistently praise Ystabl Robyn, highlighting its comfort, cleanliness, and ideal location for exploring South Wales. The cottage's well-equipped facilities and enclosed garden for dogs are frequently mentioned, along with the thoughtful welcome gifts. The property's peacefulness and the owners' responsiveness and friendliness contribute to a highly recommended stay.
Reviewers consistently describe the cottage as very clean and well-maintained, suggesting a high standard of cleanliness that contributes positively to their overall experience.
The location is praised for being central and well-situated for visiting local attractions, though one mention of traffic noise slightly impacts the perfect score. Overall, the location is deemed desirable and convenient.
Comfort is a recurring theme, with guests finding the cottage cosy and the furnishings comfortable. The only minor drawback mentioned is the accessibility of the upper bedroom for older guests.
Facilities are described as well-equipped and spacious, with a special mention of the kitchen. Some minor issues like water pressure and a wobbly toilet seat prevent a perfect score but do not detract significantly from the overall positive feedback.
Guests appreciate the welcome gifts, such as fresh eggs and wine, which add a personal touch to their stay. While these gifts are warmly received, it is politely noted that such gestures, though delightful, are not guaranteed for every stay.

In a lovely area and very dog friendly, close to beaches, parks and castles, plenty to do. The owners were extremely welcoming and hospitable. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

It was a little too close to the A48 and you could hear the hum of the traffic but that was our fault for not checking the map. A couple of really small points; the toilet seat was a bit wobbly, the downstairs mattress was a bit too soft (but that's our preference), not much water pressure from the shower and we were a little confused about bin collection but none of these things spoilt our stay. We did visit some beautiful areas and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Thank you for the welcome pack and my husband bought more of your eggs during our stay.
