Kidwelly 1.9 miles. Settled in the charming village of Llansaint near the town of Kidwelly in Carmarthenshire is Ty Crydd. This quaint, wash-washed cottage benefits from a welcoming interior adorned with characterful features and beams, two beautifully-appointed bedrooms, an enclosed, rear garden with shed for bike storage and a fantastic location encompassed by both countryside and coast; the perfect setting for couples, friends or small families looking to explore South Wales with their beloved canine companion. After parking up in the village, take the short walk and cross the threshold into your new home-from-home, the sitting room greets you with an electric flame-effect stove that undoubtedly makes this the heart of the home. Later, step into the fully-equipped kitchen/diner to rustle up a delicious meal that the whole family can enjoy around the dining table where you can raise a toast to the cherished memories you have created so far. When the evening draws to a close, wash off the day’s adventures in the ground-floor shower room before sloping off to sleep in either the twin room completing this floor or upstairs in the sumptuous king-size which boasts its own en-suite shower room. Find other amenities in the nearby town of Kidwelly where you can pick up essentials at local stores before exploring the impressive and well preserved Norman Kidwelly Castle or meandering Kidwelly Quay with your beloved dog. The beach is also within reach at Pembrey, pack up all your supplies and take the short drive here to spend sunny days soaking up the sun on its golden sands, admiring breath-taking views of Bae Caerfyrddin or splashing around in the azure. There are also a plethora of walking and hiking opportunities including those through the dense Green Castle Woods, the coast path at Scott’s Bay or Swiss Valley Reservoir. Make cherished memories at Ty Crydd!
Kidwelly, an old seaside village, is well located in the middle of West Wales, with easy access to the region's stunning landscapes, pristine beaches, and quiet forests. Kidwelly Castle is a must-see because of its enviable ridge-top location over the flowing River Gwendraeth. Cefn Sidan Beach is great for a day at the beach with the family, and the nearby Pembrey Country Park is a great place to go horseback riding or enjoy a thrilling ride down the dry-ski hill. Try biking along the Celtic Trail, visiting the intriguing Wildfowl and Wetlands Park, or taking a trip to the beautiful Brecon Beacons. Llanelli, a bustling city, and the beautiful Millennium Coast are both within easy reach, making this an excellent holiday spot.
