Guests say

This summary has been generated using feedback from guests who have stayed at this property

Guests have praised the holiday rental for its warm and cosy atmosphere, stunning views from the conservatory, and secure garden ideal for pets. The location is appreciated for its proximity to beaches and local attractions, making it a great base for exploring. The property is noted for its cleanliness and well-equipped facilities, although some guests mentioned small bedrooms and a lack of welcome pack.

Cleanliness

The property is consistently described as clean, with one review specifically highlighting its 'amazingly clean' condition, suggesting a high standard of cleanliness throughout.

Location

The location is highly regarded for its views, accessibility to beaches, and local attractions. However, a comment about the lack of pubs serving food on a Saturday night slightly impacts the perfect score.

Comfort

The property is generally considered comfortable, with a warm and cosy setting. However, several reviews mention the small size of the bedrooms, which suggests that the comfort level may be slightly compromised for some guests.

Facilities

Facilities are well-received, with mentions of good WiFi, TV, and a well-equipped kitchen. The presence of double handrails and toilets on both floors is appreciated. A broken kettle was swiftly replaced, indicating good maintenance, but the lack of furniture in bedrooms and no welcome pack slightly lowers the score.

Thoughtfulness

Unfortunately we’ve been unable assess this category comprehensively enough based on the reviews we’ve received from guests about this property.

About this property

Resting in the coastal village of Pwll, a quaint settlement gazing out upon the tranquil stretch of the River Loughor in Carmarthenshire lies the charming, three-bedroom holiday home of 3 Aelybryn. Featuring off-road parking for two cars out front, a collection of well-presented interiors, and a superb location close to nearby amenities, this delightful property welcomes a family or group of five for a refreshing escape to the beautiful South Wales coastline. Step into your new home wherein you’ll find an array of well-appointed living spaces, including a fully-equipped kitchen complete with all the appliances the designated chef will need to prepare a tasty, home-cooked dinner. Savour your meals around the dining table in the conservatory whilst you look out upon beautiful views of the nearby Loughor estuary before it meets Carmarthen Bay, you can then retreat to the sitting room to indulge in a movie marathon on the Smart TV as the evening draws to a close. When sleep inevitably calls, head upstairs to refresh with a rejuvenating bath or shower on your way to settling in for a much-needed rest in one of the three inviting bedrooms. If you can tear yourself from your lovely new dwelling, head out on foot to explore your local area. In Pwll, you will find the Pwll Stores that sells homely essentials, along with the Colliers Pwll and the Blue Anchor if pub grub is what you’re craving. You can enjoy a spot of tea and hearty breakfast at the Pavilion Café before you embark on a walk along the scenic Millennium Coastal Path. If you’re up to the challenge, follow the path east along the coast into the neighbouring market town of Llanelli, where you can spend time roaming the serene spot of the Gorsedd Circle, meander around the Parc Arfordir Mileniwm Millennium Coastal Park, brush up on history at the Parc Howard Museum, or experience avian wildlife up close at the WWT Llanelli Wetland Centre. All of this and so much more awaits when you book a stay at 3 Aelybryn.

This small coastal village is nestled between the traditional mining town of Llanelli and idyllic Burry Port, on the South West Wales coastline. It boasts an elevated position rising away from the coast, giving you views of the Gower Peninsula, and it is also home to the Amelia Earhart Plaque, which commemorates the first woman to fly across the Atlantic Ocean, who landed in the estuary near Pwll in June 1928. The village also has a local shop, pet shop and Post Office, as well as a few pubs. Venture over to the bustling harbour at Burry Port and watch the fishermen return to shore with their boats brimming with fish, or pay a visit to the 8-mile long Cefn Sidan beach and 550 acres of lush woodland at Pembrey Country Park. Walkers and cyclists can discover one of the most scenic routes in Wales along the Millennium Coastal Path, and for all kinds of sports, Llanelli is the ideal location. You can watch rugby matches, try a spot of racing at the Pembrey Circuit and try out a series of golf courses, while Carmarthen, which is easily accessed by car, offers plenty for the shopping enthusiast. Visit Carmarthen Castle to brush up on your history of the area or choose to uncover many Welsh exhibits in the Carmarthenshire County Museum, and enjoy a picturesque train journey on the Gwili Steam Railway. With so much to see and do in this beautiful part of Wales, where better to stay on your next UK holiday?
