Llanybydder 6 miles. You are ideally placed to explore the fabulous coastline of Cardigan Bay which boasts beautiful coves, sweeping sandy beaches and a variety of wildlife including birdlife, dolphins and seals. Explore fantastic little coastal villages and towns such as New Quay with its nearby honey farm, the harbour town of Aberaeron with its candy coloured houses or Llangrannog with is rocky cove, all linked with the popular Wales Coastal Path. The area offers a huge variety of activities such as dolphin and wildlife-spotting boat trips, kayaking, coasteering, fishing or surfing, as well as a fabulous selection of walks and cycle paths. Alternatively, explore local National Trust gems, including Mwnt or Penbryn beaches and Llanerchaeron, a working farm estate. Why not take the opportunity to visit Cors Caron, 22 miles, a fabulous nature reserve with over a mile of raised boardwalks across the wildlife-rich bog and marshland, and fabulous circular walks? For the more adventurous, why not take a trip to the Llandysull Padlers Club & Canoe centre with whitewater rafting and rock climbing. Great river walks and swimming in the rivers. Perhaps take a trip to Brechfa Forest, over 18,000 acres of ancient and managed woodland to explore, or visit the horticultural showcase of the National Botanical Gardens of Wales near Carmarthen, the oldest town in Wales.

A small market town straddling the River Teifi, Llanybydder is a typical old Welsh town with a small selection of shops, including a Post Office, bakers and farmers co-operative, and a few pubs and eating places scattered throughout its streets. The countryside is perfect for walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers alike. The superb coastline of both is within 20 miles for great seaside days and coastal walks on the world-renowned coastal path.
