Hen Brynbedw is a well-received cottage, praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped nature. Guests appreciate the secure garden, ideal for pets, and the friendly, helpful hosts, Tony and Cathy. The peaceful location offers a countryside experience with access to South West Wales attractions. Some guests mentioned thoughtful touches like a welcome pack, enhancing their stay.
The cottage consistently receives high praise for its spotless condition and the sense of being well-maintained. Multiple reviews highlight the exceptional cleanliness, contributing to a welcoming and comfortable stay.
The location is appreciated for its tranquillity and proximity to countryside and beaches, although some guests noted the distance to the beach and the narrow lanes. The peaceful setting amidst farmland is a highlight for those seeking a quiet retreat.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with special mentions of comfy sofas and beds. The spacious living areas and secure garden add to the comfort level, although a few guests noted the bedrooms as small and the single beds narrow.
The cottage is well-equipped, with guests frequently mentioning the range of amenities provided. However, a few minor issues such as a small TV without HDMI and a noisy washer slightly detract from the overall high standard of facilities and maintenance.
The hosts' thoughtfulness is evident in the welcome packs mentioned by several guests, which include items like Welsh cakes and milk. While these gestures are highly appreciated, it's important to note that such extras, while common, are not guaranteed for every stay.

We were met by the owners who live in the detached property next door to collect the keys - they were lovely, friendly, and suggested some dog friendly places for us to visit. The property was amazing and deceptively spacious - I loved the tiled floors throughout as it made it so much easier to clean on rainy days. This is the best property we have stayed in, in terms of what is provided - washing machine, dryer, laundry detergent, washing up liquid, dish cloths, tea towels, hand towels in the kitchen and both toilets. And the garden is the most secure garden we've had - perfect for the dogs and my son, and a proper sun trap on the few hot days that we had. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants a quieter holiday and is happy to travel to other places for days out.

Cottage had everything you needed. Apart from the washer being faulty and very loud and the owners dogs barking at every little noise, we enjoyed our stay there. The area is lovely for long walks, but, not so good for the beach. It takes a while to get to the beach due to narrow, winding lanes. When you finally get there, there is very little parking. Overall the cottage was lovely, the owners were sociable, friendly people and we had a good holiday.

Owners live next door so are on hand if needed but are not intrusive in anyway. Wonderful area to explore and only a short drive to the coast Canât wait to visit again
