The location is generally appreciated for its proximity to the beach and local shops, although one review mentions that the beach is further than stated, and road works affected parking.

The property is well-equipped for a comfortable stay, but there is a mention of a loose shower bracket that needs maintenance.

While guests mention the owners being lovely and providing homegrown salad, there is no consistent reference to gifts or additional thoughtful touches that can be guaranteed for future guests.

About this property

Within walking distance to the shoreline, a hub of amenities and attractions, whilst resting near the bustling town of Llanelli, Adeline offers a wonderful base for a self-catered stay; couples, friends and families are all invited, along with two furry companions. Park up on the roadside before heading indoors, firstly reaching the spacious living/dining room; here you can unwind after a day of travelling, before making use of the compact yet well-equipped kitchen. Prepare delicious meals to enjoy as a four around the dining table or bask in your surroundings by taking advantage of the shared, suntrap patio. As day turns into night, climb the stairs to reach a well-appointed double, and a delightful twin, offering plenty of space to rest, ahead of awakening to a refreshing shower, found in the ground-floor bathroom. Be sure to tour the village for your local amenities, where you'll find several convenience stores, whilst dine out options include the Pembrey Country Inn, Ship Aground Pembrey, and the Pantri Lolfa coffee shop. Grab your walking boots and head for the country park, or follow the nearby Millennium Cycle Path, whilst Burry Port West Beach and marina are nearby for coastal vistas; those seeking adventure will also enjoy a visit to the Pembrey Ski and Activity Centre, offering the chance to ski, surfboard and tube your way through the afternoon. Travelling inland, enjoy tours of Kidwelly Castle / Castell Cydweli, set on an elevated position, offering stunning, rural views, before heading to the quay, popular for bird watching and scenic walking routes. It is stated that the beach is close by,but in fact it is three miles. There are no local amenities as stated in the brochure It was unfortunate that road works were being carried out outside the property and parking was a nightmare on a narrow street.
