Stepping through the front door, you are greeted to a spacious open-plan living space, with a compact sitting room offering a large sofa and a TV, perfect for curling up with your partner and enjoying a relaxing evening. The kitchen has all the appliances you could need for creating a lovely home-cooked meal, with a convenient breakfast bar to enjoy a romantic evening over a glass of something fizzy. With all the rooms being on the ground floor, this would be ideal accommodation for those with limited mobility, featuring a king-size bedroom with ample storage space and a family wet room housing a rainfall shower. The lounge has a set of patio doors which lead out to the front garden, with a lawn and patio area with furniture, so you can sit out and enjoy a a refreshing beverage in the evening sun. Across the River Towy is the pretty village of Llansteffan, boasting the wonderful historical attraction of Llansteffan Castle, which features the stone ruins of a former 12th century castle. The site itself dates back to the Iron Age and sits on a cliff side, with magnificent ocean views. With plenty of local pubs, restaurants and shops in the nearby area, and access to the Glyn Abbey Golf Club, the Kidwelly Castle and Kidwelly Museum. Also Ffos Las racecourse is 5 miles away. Aberfa is the ideal secluded property for a romantic holiday.
Ferryside is a village in the community of St Ishmael, Carmarthenshire in Wales. It was originally a ferry crossing, but became a fishing village during the 19th century. The village is situated on the coast, with lovely sea views and offers a village store and pub. Now notable for being a retirement and holiday area, making it ideal for a quiet and remote holiday break.
