Aberporth is a small town that sits on the southern edge of Cardigan Bay in Ceredigion, renowned for it's fabulous beaches that attract visitors, all year round. There are two beaches that sit between the rocky headlands of Trecregyn and Fathgarreg, separated by a smaller rocky outcrop. Uniquely, at low tide they interlink, but at high tide, they create individual beaches and create great rock pools for the children to play in and explore. The lack of parking nearby was an issue but l understand this will be resolved soon . Construction of parking space ongoing during our stay. Aberporth is a super seaside town with really friendly locals. The occasional view of dolphins feeding in the morning is very special.

We loved being so close to the beach and the coast path. The garden was lovely and we were able to eat outside when the weather was warm enough. The cottage is cosy but spacious and the well equipped kitchen meant we could enjoy cooking. All in all a lovely cottage and we liked it so much we’ve already booked to come back.

We were told by yourselves that the work men working across the road, would not start till 9. They started every morning at 8am. So although we loved the area, this really spoilt it for us. And would definitely stay somewhere else next time. We got in touch with the caretaker, who said the owner would phone us. So very disappointed that he never bothered to get in touch. I would not let this cottage till the work is complete.
