This lovely Victorian house is set on the edge of St Dogmaels close to the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and the beautiful unspoilt beaches of Ceredigion. Delightfully furnished throughout, this cottage would appeal to families looking for a quiet break with plenty of outdoor potential, or walkers keen to explore sections of the superb Pembrokeshire or Ceredigion coastal paths. Entering into The Courtyard House, on your right is the sitting room, fitted with two sofas and a woodburning stove for those chillier nights, along with a flatscreen Smart TV for catching up on your favourite programmes. Wander into the spacious kitchen to find a well-equipped setup for preparing your meals, and a dining table where all can gather during mealtimes and discuss the next adventure. The bedrooms can be found upstairs and consist of a king-size double, 4’6” double and a bunk room served by a modern bathroom and shower room. Outside you can relax in the enclosed courtyard, perfect for an afternoon drink, before exploring the charming village of St Dogmaels with its award-winning weekly market, ancient abbey ruins and working water mill. Or walk/take a short drive into Cardigan for a wander around unique shops and lovely cafes. There are also plenty of places to eat and drink with an award winning gastropub on the estuary, a café and a fish and chip shop. Venture along the world-famous coast path and you might stumble across the Poppit Sands beach, a wonderful, Blue Flag awarded beach. The property is within an hour’s drive Tenby, a bustling harbour town with a number of seaside attractions, along with five theme parks dotted around the region. We could walk to the village and there are beautiful beaches within a short drive. The property owner provided plenty of useful local information. We all really enjoyed our week in St Dogmaels and would stay at the Courtyard House again.
