The lodge is beautifully built and presented and was perfect for our family of four. It is equipped with everything you need with comfortable beds, great facilities and it is immaculately clean. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and the kitchen/laundry was set up perfectly for our needs. The hot tub was a real luxury and maintained to a high standard throughout our stay. The views of the lake are stunning and it really is the perfect place to relax, unwind and connect with nature. Steve was an excellent host, recommending great local places to visit and being on hand to help us with anything we might need. The lodge is a short drive from Aberaeron which is well worth a visit and we also enjoyed the local Fantasy Farm Park. We took the Vale of Rheidol steam railway from Aberystwyth to Devil's Bridge and waterfalls which was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed by our kids, aged 10 and 8. That said, our favourite thing by far was returning to the peace, comfort and tranquility of the lodge and soaking up the beautiful surroundings. All in all, we can't recommend a holiday here highly enough. Thank you Steve for a wonderful stay and making our holiday one to remember. We hope to visit again soon.
