The lodge's location offers beautiful views and proximity to New Quay, with some minor concerns about intermittent Wi-Fi and ongoing renovations.
Guests consistently note the lodge's cleanliness, with several reviews mentioning it being immaculate, fresh, and super clean. One review mentioned an unpleasant smell, but this seems an isolated incident.
The lodge is appreciated for its peaceful atmosphere and proximity to New Quay and local amenities. However, some guests noted construction work and an intermittent unpleasant smell, slightly affecting the location's appeal.
Reviews highlight the comfortable furnishings, cosy atmosphere, and the inclusion of essentials for both guests and pets. The veranda and outdoor furniture are also mentioned positively, although weather limited their use.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the well-stocked kitchen and dog-friendly amenities. However, the score reflects concerns about intermittent Wi-Fi and temporary disruption from nearby construction work.

The minute we walked in it smelt fresh and clean. Everything was immaculate. Nice touch to find fresh milk in the fridge and tea and coffee available and some Welsh cakes. Lovely setting and the site is very quiet and peaceful. Owners emailed me with all the details needed to access the park and the property and these instructions were very clear and easy to follow. We had a really lovely comfortable stay and would totally recommend this lodge to anyone. Nice and near Newquay which we loved as we went down early evening twice to see Dolphins in the sea near the harbour.

Very clean, comfortable and cosy. Owners thought of everything. Kitchen well stocked, including dishwasher tablets. Very peaceful. We visited October and the weather was kind to use, allowing us to sit on the veranda on occasions. Lots of outdoor furniture, which would get alot of us in the summer. This was our first time in a lodge and won't be our last. Highly recommend this property. Thank to all the staff, those we met very friendly.

We highly recommend The Ridgeway for anyone looking for a tranquil getaway in a stunning setting.
