Dolwylan Cottage is consistently praised for its beautiful setting, cosy atmosphere, and proximity to nature and beaches. Guests appreciate the thoughtful interior design and the peaceful, secluded location. While some minor issues are mentioned, the overall experience is one of comfort and enjoyment, with many expressing a desire to return.
The cottage is described as very clean and comfortable, with only one mention of animal turf on the lawn upon arrival. The high level of cleanliness contributes to the overall positive experience.
The location is deemed perfect by reviewers, with beautiful sea views and close proximity to nature. However, the presence of a nearby caravan park, not shown in photos, slightly impacts the score.
Comfort is highlighted with cosy touches like a log fire and comfortable beds, though one guest mentioned hard pillows and the lack of a handrail on the stairs, which affects the score.
Facilities are generally well-received, with the house being well-appointed. Some guests faced issues with the freezer, open fire, and a broken cafetière. The lack of information on waste disposal and the fuse box suggests room for improvement.
Guests are pleased with the thoughtful details and welcome gifts of eggs, bread, and milk, although it should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be provided on every occasion.
