We are pleased to be able to offer access to this lovely woodland. You will find both native and other species of trees, together with various seasonal fungi and lichens. We often have young buzzards in the woods. If you are lucky, you may see them either feeding from the woodland floor or flying between the trees. There are also rabbits and other woodland creatures.
The woodland is enclosed all around with stock-proof wire fencing. It should be safe for your pooch to be let off the lead unless you know they are likely to jump out! From time to time there may well be stock in the surrounding fields.
For your safety, please be aware that there are multiple ‘hazards’ to be found in this woodland. Tree stumps, hidden dips and rabbit holes, low branches, fallen debris etc. Guests are welcome to enjoy walking in these woods, but at their own risk! We ask that guests please respect the woodland area and bag all dog waste and place in the bin provided by the gates. This former barn has been converted into an end-terrace

There's two bedrooms at this lovely barn, a double and a single room, as well as a compact shower room. Downstairs is an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining and seating areas and the added bonus of a conservatory with comfy seating. This is a delightful getaway for couples or a small group, looking for a peaceful base to explore the local area while having plenty of space in and around the cottage to make the most of relaxation time. Note: This cottage can be booked with Refs. 943680 and 943687, together they sleep 11.
The bustling market town of Newcastle Emlyn is set on the River Teifi and offers an array of shops, both unique local producers and larger chain stores, such as designer clothes, crafts and jewellery, antiques, tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and a ruined castle, plus fishing permits are available nearby. Surrounding Newcastle Emlyn is beautiful countryside, whilst the rugged Cardiganshire coastline is just six miles away, where you have the opportunity to visit Cardigan Island Farm Park, wonderful sandy beaches, or take a boat trip to spot dolphins and seals at New Quay.
