Settled in the Eleri Valley of Ceredigion in Wales, is the large village of Bow Street, just north-east of the popular seaside town of Aberystwyth. This charming Welsh settlement is home to a Spar convenience store as well as the butcher selling a wide range of local produce. Head down to the local pub, Rhydypennau Inn, that serves food and drink, or you can fine Pennau Crafts Centre and Cafe, a Chinese takeaway and a Fish and Chips Shop, so you have all you need on your doorstep for a wonderful self-catered stay. To the north-west is the lovely coastal village of Borth which is part of the Dyfi Biosphere, the only unesco Biosphere reserve in Wales, and boasts a beautiful stretch of beach given the Blue Flag Award status. Head down to Aberystwyth to wander around the amazing old castle, walk along the seafront, or hop on The Vale of Rheidol Railway to experience some beautiful scenery.
