Snaptrip says

Oyster Cottage is highly praised for its superb location, comfort, and well-equipped nature. Guests appreciate the clean environment, friendly neighbours, and the added bonus of a garage. The property's proximity to local amenities, pubs, and restaurants, as well as its suitability for families and pet-friendliness, are frequently mentioned. While there are some concerns about parking and maintenance, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests generally find the cottage to be clean and well-maintained, with only a couple of isolated comments about average cleaning and a blocked shower upon arrival. The majority of reviews do not raise cleanliness as an issue, indicating satisfaction with the standards.

The location is consistently lauded for being central, with easy access to shops, beaches, and local attractions. The convenience of the location is a highlight for many guests, contributing to the property's appeal.

Comfort is a strong point for Oyster Cottage, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the cottage homely. The presence of a garden and the quietness of the area also contribute to a comfortable stay, although there are minor mentions of creaky floors and noisy door handles.

Facilities are generally well-received, with the cottage being described as well-equipped. The garage is frequently appreciated, although there are comments about the need for a better shower and the lack of a welcome tray with basics like milk and toilet rolls.

While the reviews reflect a positive experience with the property's amenities and the provision of games, there is no specific mention of gifts or additional thoughtful touches provided by the hosts. Therefore, a score cannot be given for thoughtfulness.

Lovely, comfortable cottage in perfect location for a holiday in the Mumbles. Everything is literally on the doorstep! Food shops, Cafes and bars, the Esplanade is a few minutes walk away offering stunning views around the bay which stretches for miles. It is just a 10 minute walk to Rotherslade and Langland beaches which are absolutely stunning. Cottage is well equipped and has a lovely garden. It also benefits from having a parking space and a garage as well as views of the castle and beach. We didn’t want to leave!

Second time we stayed in the cottage, everything you need is there. Perfect locatation, for just visiting Mumbles but also for doing nice walking!

Lovely cottage, walking distance to sea front. Comfy bed, 2 bathroom (1 with bath, 1 with shower). There are parking spaces but off very narrow road - so tricky.
