Overall very comfortable and quiet, but would benefit from some tlc. The roads leading to the cottage are steep and narrow .

Clean and comfortable but poorly serviced and maintained.

Periwinkle Cottage is a quaint, cosy and comfy cottage in a fantastic location perfect for exploring Mumbles and the rest of the Gower Peninsula. We loved Mumbles and thought it a wonderful place for families. Having a sea view was a plus, as was private parking outside the property - this doesn’t seem common in Mumbles and it’s an advantage, especially given the steep climb up to the cottage, which is set on a hill. The garden/outside area, however, as well as being in need of attention, was hard to access, with narrow steep steps making it a challenge for anyone older, someone with any mobility issues or those with young children.
