Guests say

Guests love the peaceful, idyllic setting of The Stable, with its proximity to stunning beaches and local amenities like the Britannia Inn. The accommodation is praised for its comfort and cleanliness, and the owners are noted for their hospitality. The property is a perfect base for exploring the Gower and enjoying the local wildlife, including ducks and a friendly tabby cat.

The property is consistently described as clean and well-kept, with only one minor comment about the lack of an ice box, which does not directly relate to cleanliness.

The location is highly praised for its beauty and tranquility, with easy access to local attractions and walks. However, one review mentioned challenges with the single track road and inaccurate Sat Nav directions, slightly affecting the score.

Most reviews find the accommodation comfortable and cosy, but there is a single mention of an uncomfortable bed, which slightly lowers the score.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the property being described as well-equipped. However, the absence of an ice box and a comment on the bed's comfort suggest room for improvement.

While the reviews reflect the owners' hospitality and the provision of local tips, there are no specific mentions of gifts or special thoughtful touches that can be guaranteed for future guests, hence the score is set to null.

We choose this cottage for the peace and quiet and it didn't let us down just what we needed .There are enough walks and areas around locally for you to get steps in and then the quiet relaxation later. Our dog loved it too .The little bench up the small hill on the property was lovely to sit with a drink and admire the amazing views. The owners made us feel very welcome and you can get fresh eggs from them which are lovely and fresh you can hear the chickens that laid them .The pub is five minute walk away so was lovely on a evening to walk with our dog have a couple of drinks and walk back be careful as it does include walking on the road but not much traffic so all good .So glad we found you thank you

A lovely converted barn for a self catering holiday. Superb location set in the beautiful countryside. A good base for exploring the Gower, quiet and peaceful. A good pub 10 mins walk up the road serves excellent food and very reasonably priced.
