Snaptrip says

Guests have found the cottage in Gower to be a clean, comfortable, and well-equipped property in a fantastic location close to the coastal path and Mumbles. While some guests noted issues with parking and the need for some maintenance, the overall experience has been positive, with the property providing a good base for exploring the area.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The property has been consistently described as very clean, with white fluffy towels and clean bedding, akin to hotel standards. No negative comments about cleanliness were noted.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to the coastal path, beaches, and Mumbles. It is considered brilliant for walking and driving to attractions, despite some comments about the necessity of having a car.

The property is generally found to be comfortable and cosy, with decent beds and a pleasant lounge. However, a suggestion for wider double beds indicates that comfort could be improved.

While the property is well-equipped and the large appliances work well, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as slippery decking, a non-working outside light, and inadequate parking. Some guests also noted a lack of crockery and glassware.

There are no mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to assess this category.

Very nice new-build property, lacking those finishing touches to make it welcoming, quite messy and unloved, but overall a perfectly adequate base, lovely lounge, decent beds and clean bedding. Having a car is essential due to hills and distances but parking quite challenging, the local residents were unhappy with the house being a holiday home.

Set in a pleasant residential area. The actual property is of good quality but it is now shabby and needs some tlc. Large appliances work well, but shortcomings in crockery and glassware. The servicing is basic … postage stamp sized towels, no toilet rolls, washing up or cleaning materials and certainly no welcome pack. All in all an acceptable but basic experience.

The actual accommodation was very good.
