Guests say

Vale House in Llandudno is highly praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and prime location close to the beach and local amenities. Guests appreciate the well-equipped house, comfortable furnishings, and the thoughtful touches provided by the owner. Despite a few minor suggestions for improvement and an isolated incident with cleanliness, the overall sentiment is extremely positive, with many guests looking forward to returning.

Guests consistently note the property as 'spotlessly clean' with great attention to detail. One isolated review mentioned cleanliness issues, but this seems to be an exception rather than the rule.

The location is universally acclaimed for being central and convenient, within walking distance to the beach, pier, shops, and restaurants, making it an ideal spot for exploring Llandudno.

The property is repeatedly described as comfortable, with spacious rooms and cosy beds. The presence of multiple sitting areas and outdoor spaces adds to the overall comfort.

The house is well-equipped and beautifully furnished, with a well-received welcome pack. Suggestions for additional amenities like a dishwasher and more bins are noted, but overall the facilities meet guests' needs.

The owner's thoughtfulness is frequently mentioned, with welcome packs and personal touches that enhance the stay. While these gifts are warmly appreciated, they are a bonus and may vary with each stay.

About this property

Not far from the main high street in the popular seaside town of Llandudno, is this wonderful three-storey property, 17 Bodhyfryd Road. Recently reopened, bring your family to this classic house boasting large rooms with plenty of space for everyone, or perhaps this property will be the perfect place to catch up with old friends in this bustling town. Enter and be struck by the beauty of the stripped-back original wooden floorboards and high ceilings, as you turn towards the sitting room, where two large sofas sit around the beautiful feature fireplace, accompanied by the flatscreen TV, you can spend a rainy afternoon in here watching your favourite films or shows using the Amazon firestick. Opposite is the dining room, where you can look forward to sitting down to a family meal every night for some simple quality time, making the delicious meals at the back of the house in the contemporary-meets-country kitchen. Wooden farm-style doors, a Belfast sink and wooden worktops feature alongside modern appliances like the electric oven and hob, and large fridge/freezer to ensure you have everything you need for the best self-catering experience possible. Heading upstairs onto the first-floor half-landing is where you can find the exquisite bathroom containing a very inviting claw-foot freestanding bath tub, where you can spend an hour or so relaxing in this bright open room, with a separate WC with basin next door. Ascend the rest of the stairs after a long day and rest your head on the super-king-size bed, keep your personal items in the antique wooden dresser, and drape your jacket over the back of the plush chair by the large bay windows, drenching the room with light when you throw the curtains open in the next morning. A twin room also lies on this floor, with a king sized bed, whilst upstairs the second floor hosts two more bedrooms; a king-size and a children's room. A vintage rocking horse sits next to the TV in the children's room, as well as a single bed which houses a trundle pull-out bed. In the summer months, choose from either of the two enclosed courtyards, to the front or back, wherever the sun is, both benefiting from outdoor seating and table, so enjoy some alfresco dining in the evening or perhaps just sip a cold drink with friends before heading out for dinner at one of the many restaurants available in Llandudno. You'll find the town to be a charming place, with features that still echo to their original period such as the Llandudno Pier, originally built in 1878 and still using its original wrought iron frame it still retains its Victorian elegance, referred to as some as the "Queen of Welsh Piers". Vale House is beautifully decorated and furnished throughout, with lots of attention to detail. Kitchen is well equipped, and there is a bathroom and wc on both the 1st and 2nd floors. It is in an ideal location on a quiet street, handy for the pier, the sea front/prom, and all the local shops, restaurants etc. The owner is friendly, helpful and great communication. Had a very comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable stay. Would definitely want to stay again. Highly recommend.
