Beachcomber D35 is a traditional caravan with a homely feel, praised for its lovely decoration and comprehensive facilities. Guests have enjoyed the proximity to the beach and local amenities, though some noted the presence of a nearby railway. The property has received mixed feedback on cleanliness and maintenance, but the owner's helpfulness and the inclusion of refreshments have been appreciated.
Reviews indicate mixed experiences with cleanliness. While some guests found the caravan clean, others reported it as dirty and poorly maintained, with specific complaints about the oven and general upkeep.
The location has been described as ideal for beach access, but the proximity to a noisy railway line has been a concern for some guests. The mixed feedback suggests that the location suits some but not all.
Comfort levels seem to vary among guests. Some found the caravan very comfortable and well-furnished, while others experienced issues with heating and noise from the nearby railway, affecting their stay.
Facilities are generally well-received, with mentions of a well-stocked kitchen and good washing facilities. However, there are reports of maintenance issues such as a non-working DVD player and electrical problems, which impact the score.
The owner's thoughtfulness is noted in the provision of refreshments and DVDs, which guests found to be a nice touch. However, it should be noted that such personal touches may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Provided with all the facilities one should need. Cooker, microwave, televisions, central heating, static heater and great internet access. The furnishings were brilliant. The washing facilities were good a small en-suite in the main bedroom and shower room in corridor. I was pleasantly surprised by the efficiency and flow of the shower although it was a bit difficult to turn fully off. As advertised it is near a railway track. This isnât some quaint Welsh mountain system. It carries local commuting trains and Express trains. I like trains and wasnât bothered about the rate of traffic. I donât think it is 24 hr a day but not far off. Anyone considering a stay should bear this in mind. The site management receptionists were very polite and friendly. There are joint facilities nearby by. The accommodation had a good stock of cutlery, plates and glasses. Because we stayed in a colder time I would ideally have liked the premises warmed through and aired immediately prior to arrival. We enjoyed our stay and felt the price was competitive. Clean campsite where you can exercise dogs locally and easy access to the beach via a bridge. Great place

Loved the area in our first visit here.

The price did not correlate with what was on VRBO. It took a lot of effort to sort this. And no apology. The caravan was nicely decorated and clean. The location was not very nice though. Very close to a noisy railway line. The swimming pool cost an extra £25 so we didnât bother.
