Glan Y Gors Cottage receives high praise for its friendly hosts and picturesque setting. Guests appreciate the clean, comfortable accommodations and the property's dog-friendly nature. The presence of farm animals adds charm, although the narrow access lanes and remote location are noted. Some guests mention minor issues with facilities and Wi-Fi, but overall experiences are positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
The majority of guests report the cottage as very clean, with only a few isolated comments about cleanliness issues. The positive remarks suggest a high standard of cleanliness is generally maintained.
The location is appreciated for its tranquillity and rural charm, with easy access to North Wales attractions. However, some guests find the narrow lanes challenging and the property somewhat remote, which slightly affects the score.
Guests find the cottage warm and comfortable, with a well-refurbished kitchen and bathroom. The presence of a spiral staircase and some comments about thin walls slightly impact the comfort rating.
Facilities are generally praised, especially for being dog-friendly, but there are several mentions of issues with Wi-Fi and some maintenance concerns. The presence of farm animals and a conservatory are positives.
While guests mention receiving fresh eggs and the hosts' helpfulness, there is insufficient information to determine if gifts are a regular occurrence or to assess the overall thoughtfulness of the hosts. Therefore, this score is set to null.

The cottage had everything we needed and enough room for 2 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. No complaints about the property at all, it was perfect. The garden was right next to a goat field and whilst the fence was secure, it wasnât high so any dog that did want to jump over and chase the goats would be able to. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The cottage was located a short drive from Conwy, Colwyn Bay, Llandudno, to name a few. I would definitely recommend this cottage.

Friendly owners , who live adjacent . Beautiful baby goats had just been born . Be aware of dogs , geese , cats and chickens on land . Property has been divided from existing house so some locked doors. Would benefit from a fresh paint , but did not spoil our holiday . Spiral stairs are very tight , so need to be quite fit to get up and down . Would recommend for anyone to visit

The owners addressed any maintenance issues very promptly. Most things you would expect in a holiday cottage were present (except a teapot). Some eggs were provided, a nice touch! Lounge was a little small and dark, but the conservatory was nice and bright. Plenty of storage space (drawers) in the upstairs bedroom. It was tricky to get suitcases up the narrow spiral staircase, but the listing did warn us! A few things could be better: 1) We think it needs a fan heater in the en-suite bathroom (it was cold and the heating for the bathroom depended on the heating system in the adjoining cottage being switched on). 2) Parking - if you are using 2 vehicles, currently one has to be left in a grass lay-by a short distance from the cottage, awkward when loading and unloading.
