A lovely cosy cottage, very good shower and extremely comfortable beds. The village is lovely, all the locals are really friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed visiting both the pubs, unfortunately the black lion isn't dog friendly but we sat outside most days as they do have a covered seating area. The swan is a great little pub serving box meals that you can eat in or take away and it is dog friendly inside. Highly recommend the cafe as you enter the village, we enjoyed the breakfasts and take away coffees on our walks. Thank you to the hosts for our lovely stay and we can't wait to return.

Itâs a good size & perfectly comfortable for four adults. The main bedroom is especially big and roomy. The cottage is well equipped. We didnât do any cooking but there is plenty of crockery & utensils. We randomly found a dinner knife and empty tissue packet in the alcove in the lounge and some veg peelings on a cutting board. There was some dust and the carpets hold some doggy smells, but in the main everything was clean. The information folder was useful but could include what to do with rubbish/recycling. We found the area information leaflets/games/DVDâs on the last night in the drawers in the lounge. It might be worth saying theyâre there in the information folder. Overall, everything we needed for a comfortable break away.
