A delightful, detached single-storey lodge, within easy reach of the coastline at Abergele and Colwyn Bay. This Rhyd-y-Foel holiday cottage is light and airy, with an open-plan living area with flame-effect electricfire. This Rhyd-y-Foel holiday cottage has patio doors to a decked area and side lawn, a great location for enjoying the scenic hill views and dining alfresco. This cottage in Rhyd-y-Foel is ideal for a relaxing break all year round. Note: This cottage is next to Refs. 1797 and 17630, together they sleep 12.

Beautifully positioned between the remarkable Vale of Clwyd and the outstanding Conwy Valley, the tranquil village of Rhyd-y-Foel is just one mile from amazing sandy beaches that link the well-known coastal resorts of Abergele and Colwyn Bay. With wide, expansive beaches, the area is renowned for offering safe bathing waters and exceptional water-sports facilities. There is also a great number of walking trails, including the Offa's Dyke pathway and the Clwydian Hill Range. Bodelwyddan, Rhuddlan and Conwy castles are all within easy distance and are worth visiting, as is the Victorian town of Llandudno for its quality shops, restaurants, fantastic dry ski slope and exciting cable car rides. With so much to see and do in the local area, visitors to Rhyd-y-Foel will be spoiled for choice.

    Also when exiting the location onto main road would be very useful to have some sort of mirror to see if anything coming down road rather than coming out blind and hoping for the best .

    Large comfy sofas too. Fantastic views, everything you need except hoover but maybe it was meant to be a rest from housework. Owner responded immediately to request about oven and cleaners very friendly. Only downside was dishwasher didn't wash effectively, toilet seat unhygenic delaminated and a bit of black mould round windows behind curtains and in corners. Great to have garden to exercise dog and lovely big decking for outside dining.
