Guests say

Bryn Y Mor is a well-loved cottage in Colwyn Bay, praised for its stunning views over the estuary and comfortable living spaces. Guests have enjoyed the property's location, ideal for exploring North Wales & Snowdonia, and the thoughtful touches like Welsh cakes. While some have mentioned maintenance issues, the charm of the house and its setting often outweigh these concerns.

Most guests found the house clean and well-maintained, though some noted areas where cleanliness could be improved, such as dust on picture rails and dirty dishes. The overall impression is positive, but attention to detail in cleaning could enhance the experience.

The location is highly praised for its beautiful views and proximity to local attractions and amenities. The convenience for exploring the surrounding area is a highlight, despite some comments about the busy road and parking challenges for larger vehicles.

Guests have found the house very comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and cosy living areas. Some reviews suggest that the beds and furniture could be updated for added comfort, but overall, the property provides a pleasant stay.

The property offers good internet and essential facilities, but several reviews mention maintenance issues like smoke alarms, heating, and garden gates. While these are minor and did not significantly impact the enjoyment, addressing them could improve the overall experience.

Guests have appreciated the thoughtful gestures such as welcome gifts, which added a personal touch to their stay. However, it's important to note that such gifts are a bonus and not a guaranteed amenity for future guests.

amazing view across the river and private parking

Could do with a bit of updating. We had to lay some tea towels in the kitchen window sill as when it rained it leaked quite badly through the plaster at the top of the recess. It was on a busy road and the drive was extremely narrow, but we managed. Having said that, we did have a lovely stay.. I love Conwy.
