Guests say

Pine Lodge is a spacious property with stunning views, appreciated for its comfortable bedding, well-equipped kitchen, and enjoyable hot tub. The garden and outdoor seating are highlights, and a welcome pack adds a nice touch. Some guests noted issues with maintenance and a lack of basic supplies, but the owner's responsiveness is positively mentioned.

The property was generally found to be clean and tidy upon arrival. However, one review mentioned mould in the washing machine seal, indicating room for improvement in cleanliness maintenance.

The location is highly praised for its excellent views and proximity to local attractions such as the beach and the Welsh Mountain Zoo. The area is described as lovely and the property is conveniently situated for exploring North Wales.

Guests found the seating and bedding comfortable, and the property spacious. The super king bed and quiet neighbourhood were specifically mentioned as contributing to the comfort of the stay.

While the kitchen and hot tub are well-received, guests reported issues with missing kitchen utensils, blocked drains, and a lack of entertainment options like live TV. Maintenance concerns such as sticking doors and peeling paint were also noted.

Guests appreciated the welcome pack left by the owners, which added a thoughtful touch to their stay. However, as gifts are not consistently mentioned across all reviews, it cannot be guaranteed that such gestures are a standard practice for every stay.

They provided a lovely welcome pack! We received some lovely texts from the owners, just checking if everything was okay and offering useful tips and information. The Welsh mountain zoo a few minutes drive away, Llandudno and Rhyl all within 30minute drive. We will definitely be booking again. Thank you

It was spacious, clean and had lovely views. I loved the conservatory room and we all enjoyed the hot tub! I have not giving it 5 stars as there were a few things that could be improved on to make the experience even better. When we arrived there were biscuits to greet us. This was a lovely gesture but could be improved on with something more practice like; mini cereals, milk, bread etc. The tea and coffee pots were completely empty! One thing that I felt seemed out-of place was that we were not able to put toiletries down the toilet. So a bin filled with dirty toilet roll became quite unpleasant. It seemed such a strange thing to be doing in a modern house like this. The kitchen was lovely and spacious but it had absolutely no basic cooking ingredients. There was no oil, salt and pepper or herbs. These types of ingredients would be really helpful to already be in a property as they are things that we would not really want to bring. We had to buy them all in the end. It would also be helpful to have some cutlery and crockery for kids. Finally, the communication between us and the home owner was very good but did not have a personal touch at all. They never signed off any of their messages with there name. I still have no idea who I was messaging. I find these small things are very important. The extra touches are what makes someone want to return and for them to feel welcome. Not using names is one of these seemingly insignificant things that are actually extremely important to people. We definitely enjoyed our stay and it is a suitable place to stay for a large family. Just be aware that it is also on the top of a hill!

Very clean throughout, only recommendations are for garden parasol and garden dining tables and chairs to be available as it was extremely hot and sunny with no shaded area in the beautiful back garden. Be great if a BBQ was available too. I’m looking forward to booking this holiday home again in the future.
