Lovely little cottage with great views in a beautiful location. Routes to tourist locations within easy reach. Lovely welcome hamper.

Really lovely property, the only disappointment was the missing chair in the living room and unfortunately as my husband is 6’4” any future bookings will need to have a king size bed without a footboard.

The property was comfortable and clean. There was everything we needed in the kitchen. Super location. Some windows very stiff to open - perhaps a bit of oil on the hinges? Recent comments made in the visitors' book mention disappointment with the welcome hamper. We would concur with this. Although the items in the hamper were of a high quality, it would have been nice to have basics included, i.e. bread, butter, milk and a packet of tea. This would be helpful , particularly as there are no local shops for these items. In all the other Rural Retreat properties we have visited, basic items have been included in the hamper, which has been very helpful.
