Guests say

Guests consistently praise the cottage's prime location within Conwy, cleanliness, and comfort. The property is well-regarded for its proximity to local attractions and amenities. While some minor issues are noted, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

The majority of reviews highlight the property's cleanliness, with several guests describing it as 'spotless' and 'very clean'. One mention of needing to clean bird lime from an outside area slightly impacts the score.

The location is frequently praised for being central and within walking distance to Conwy's attractions. The convenience of the location is a standout feature in the reviews.

Guests find the cottage comfortable, with mentions of comfy sofas and beds. Some concerns about noise and steep stairs are noted, but these do not detract significantly from the overall comfort.

Facilities are generally well-received, with modern amenities and a well-appointed kitchen. However, some feedback on non-stick pans and the desire for a dishwasher suggests room for improvement.

Welsh cakes and milk are mentioned as thoughtful touches, although it is important to note that such gestures are not guaranteed and may vary with each stay.

I did wish there was a laundry airer for drying clothes. Conwy has the loudest seagulls we have ever heard, but other than that, we slept great!

Close to everything neat and tidy and the hosts left lots of instructions and helpful notes on parking and sights. The amenities were really nice and modern.

We booked very last minute (the morning of the day we travelled) leaving the hosts very little time to get everything ready, but everything went smoothly and was ready to go when we arrived. Property was easy to find and was in a fantastic location for access to the town and local attractions. A key safe by the door holds the front door key, allowing a “contactless” check in. Inside you will find a dining table and chairs, large seating area (lounge) with TV. The owners had left plenty of instructions to help with your stay, including parking instructions and leaflets for things to do in the area. A pack of Welsh cakes had been left to enjoy (which I promptly did!) and some fresh milk in the fridge. Kitchen was well appointed and had everything you needed for a stay (plenty of plates, cutlery, etc.) and included a few of the basics that often get forgotten (salt, vinegar, etc.). On the first floor was a great sized bathroom, single bedroom and double at the front of the property. I did struggle a bit with noise from traffic and people walking past talking loudly but it wasn’t a deal breaker that would stop me from returning, but be aware that if you are a light sleeper then the double room might not be for you. For me the location of the property outweighed the noise and the only time I noticed it was later at night. In the attic was a further two singles. Plenty of towels available, beds were comfy enough and overall more than enough room for 4 to 5 people to stay. No parking at the property but, thanks to the instructions left, had no issue finding free parking within a few minutes of the property. Even the paid parking wasn’t too bad if you had to use it (around £7 per 24 hours). The property is a moments walk to the city walls and only a short walk to the town centre and castle. All easily walkable in around 10 to 15 mins at a gentle stroll. Highly recommended both as a property and from good hosting skills.
