The town of Deganwy, on the banks of the River Conwy at the mouth of the Estuary, is a very popular holiday destination. Deganwy has a marina, a small selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, and retains the ruins of Deganwy Castle, built in 1082 but later demolished. There is an abundance of activities to suit all interests on offer in this area; from sea fishing, walking and climbing in the Snowdonia range to enjoying the castles, mines, beaches and gardens of this beautiful stretch of the North Wales Coast. Deganwy is only a few miles from the holiday resorts of Conwy and Llandudno; Conwy boasts a medieval castle, town walls and a marina, plus winding streets which offer something for shoppers and diners alike. Llandudno was very popular during the Victorian era, and this is evident in the architecture and the very impressive promenade. The town also has a pier with family attractions, a theatre and for the more adventurous, a dry ski slope! Between Deganwy, Llandudno and Conwy, this area has so much to offer the entire family.

There wasn't a contact number for the owners so we contacted Sykes who said they'd get in touch with owner and get back to us.However you never did so we went a week without WiFi.Also for a weeks stay we would've expected more than one towel each, one bin liner, a hairdryer would have been useful.

Even so, the TV was excellent with various stations/programs available.

The flat has been recently refurbished but the builders have left some snagging issues that need sorting. The oven isn't fixed to the housing so it moves when you pull the handle. There are bare wires above the kitchen wall units, admittedly too high to reach but it doesn't fill you with confidence in the electrical installation. The bathroom window handle came away when I tried to close the window. The box steps by the patio door are not fixed to the wall and can move. The front door catches on the carpet so needs a hefty push. Otherwise all was ok. The flat is in a nice area and only a short walk to the sea front or a short drive to Conwy and Llandudno.
