Guests generally appreciate the cottage's cleanliness, comfort, and prime location for exploring North Wales. The property is well-equipped, offering a home-from-home experience with a touch of vintage charm. While some minor issues were reported, the responsive owner and the property's overall appeal have led to repeat visits and recommendations.
Most guests found the cottage to be clean and comfortable. There was an isolated incident where the property had not been cleaned prior to arrival, but this seems to be an exception rather than the rule.
The cottage is praised for its excellent location, central to towns, beaches, and attractions in North Wales, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.
The majority of guests found the cottage cosy and comfortable. However, some noted that the shower cubicle was small and the downstairs area felt a bit dark and dated.
The property is well-equipped, with mentions of a PlayStation and thoughtful amenities. Some guests experienced issues with the gas fire and lighting, suggesting room for improvement in maintenance.
While the reviews reflect a well-equipped cottage and a helpful owner, there are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.
Located in the seaside town of Llanfairfechan overlooking a river, is this pretty, mid-terrace 3 Alma Terrace. Near a sandy beach and a cluster of amenities, this quirky cottage makes a wonderful escape for both families and friends looking for an adventure. Leave your vehicle on the roadside before opening up the gate to the front patio; here you can enjoy a cup of tea and watch the world whirl by. Discover the retro-style sitting room, where you can look forward to sinking into the sofa and catching up on your favourite shows on the TV. Stepping through the property, locate the kitchen home to everything you need for a self-catered stay, including a gas cooker and hob. The sun room offers a dining table, so you can gather together to enjoy heart-warming meals whilst soaking up the natural light. Patio doors lead out onto the rear garden, which overlooks the rushing river, an idyllic spot for a cold beverage. As day draws to night, head inside and climb upstairs to choose between two bedrooms, a double with bedside lamps for a night-time read and a twin bedroom with riverside views. Awaken with a bubble-bath in the bathroom or take a shower before joining your guests in the rear garden for a cup of coffee. A short stroll will lead you to Traeth Llanfairfechan Beach, home to a promenade with a selection of cafes to fuel your day or visit Aber Falls for a tranquil setting. Jump in the car to explore the walled town of Conwy, certain to entice history buffs with its 13th century castle and the Smallest House in Great Britain; there is also an expansive golf course to test your swing. The vibrant town of Llandudno is also within easy reach, home to the longest pier in Wales to savour fresh fish and chips, as well as a traditional pier with lively arcades. For a unique getaway to North Wales, look no further than 3 Alma Terrace.

It had everything we needed for our weeks stay.Comfortable and warm and I loved the vintage furniture.Shower could have been bigger as it was tight squeeze and you had to battle with the shower curtain to stop the water going on the floor.Enjoyed the breakfast at the seagrass cafe and it was dog friendly.!!.The pubs on the street did not do food which was a shame but both were friendly Virginia inn particularly

Close to shops, beach and pub. Train station is close so we left the car and used the train for our visits to Llandudno, Conway and Rhyl, only used the car to go to Snowdon which is 25 minutes away. We walked to Aber falls which was lovely. We would definitely stay again thank you.
