Guests say

Guests consistently praise Gwyder, a cottage in Penmaenmawr, for its cleanliness, prime location with sea views and proximity to the beach, and the thoughtful touches provided by the owners. The property is well-equipped for large groups, offering ample space and comfort. While some guests noted minor issues with fridge size and mattress comfort, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many expressing a desire to return.

Reviews frequently highlight the cleanliness of the property, describing it as very clean and well-maintained, which suggests a high standard of cleanliness.

The property's location is frequently praised for its easy access to the beach, local shops, and nearby towns. The slight noise from the road is mentioned but does not detract significantly from the overall positive feedback on location.

The comfort of the property is generally well-regarded, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. However, some guests mentioned the mattresses could be improved, which slightly affects the score.

Facilities are considered well-suited for large groups, with a well-stocked kitchen and ample parking. Points were deducted for comments on the small fridge size and desire for additional Christmas decorations.

Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches such as bread, milk, and treats for the dog. While these gifts enhance the experience, it's important to note that such personal touches, though delightful, are not guaranteed.

Penmaenmawr is an old quarrying town that has been transformed into a lovely community that stretches along this stunning coastline while retaining much of its Victorian architecture. It has many local pubs, restaurants, and shops, a fantastic golf course, and golden, sandy beaches. It is located on the North Wales coast between Llanfairfechan and Conwy. Many areas of Penmaenmawr and its sister village Dwygyfylchi, which are situated on the Tal-Y-Fan Mountain, provide breath-taking views of Llandudno, Puffin Island, Anglesey, and the Irish Sea across Conwy harbour. If you're lucky, you might even get a glimpse of dolphins and seals frolicking in the harbour. The seaside walk connects to Llanfairfechan to the west and Conwy Marina to the east through a freshly created bicycle path.

It had everything we needed for our party of 10 (kids, teens and adults). The house is spread over 4 floors so it didn't feel like we we're on top of eachother all the time, there was space to come together as a big group but also space for you to get a bit of quiet. We had incredible beach views too. The local area had everything we needed, plenty of shops and places to eat. The beach was a short walk away. Penmaenmawr was also a really good location, there was plenty to do near by. We didn't have to drive far to get to places.

When we entered we thought what a beautiful home, very clean, and provided everything we needed, the owner thought of everything what we might need. Just perfect. The bed were very comfortable. Prefect that there are bathrooms on each floor! Perfect location, just 20-30 minutes to different town and beaches. Plenty of parking! Our family had a fantastic time staying in this beautiful home, we would definitely recommend 5

Kitchen well equipped for large groups especially the oven/hob. Great location with the beach 10 minute walk away and plenty of shops/takeaways to chose from & a friendly pub nearby. Only 2 minor negative comments that we discussed as a group was the comfort of the mattresses (but this was pointed out because we are probably spoilt at home with the quality of our own) and also could have done with another fridge or taller one to store the quantity of food that comes with large groups. Other than those more than happy with our stay & would definitely recommend
