This lovely, large village rests on the scenic Isle of Anglesey in North Wales. Llanfair PG, abbreviated from one of the longest place names in the world, is just three miles away with a small selection of charming amenities and an old railway station worth a look. Both Beaumaris and Bangor, which is over the bridge into mainland Wales, are within 10 miles and promise memorable days out with their vast array of amenities, splendid architecture and much to do catering to all tastes. The property had everything we needed for our stay. Great we didn't have to take our own towels and bedding. We loved the location, a 15 minute walk to Conwy Centre and easy access to explore North Wales. The locals were very welcoming. A local shop is near by for those essentials, not forgetting Wooseys Fish and Chips (the best by far) also just down the road. Dogs were welcome. There were bowls and a feed mat available should you need them. Would definitely consider staying again.

It was a nice staging post for seeing the sites around parts of North Wales & the hot tub at the property was a real bonus & a great thing to have. We did have a couple of issues, we had trouble with the tv, netflicks stopped working & we could not get the BBC channels, I called the owner, Adam & he told me a previous guest back in July had messed up the system, he did tell me how to fix the problem, I filled his instructions, but for me they did not work, so it was a bit of inconvenience, but I did have my own netflicks on my laptop so we could watch it through the tv & we could watch the BBC channels through the BBC Iplayer. All the windows in the house could have done with a good clean, especially the front one in the lounge as the dirt was highlighted when the sun came around in the late afternoon, there were also cobwebs on the outside & inside of the patio doors & cobwebs on the back of the dining table on the left-hand side & they had all been there for a while, so that was a bit of a letdown

There was no live tv but on catch up plenty of things to watch. The location of the cottage was good to a local fish and chip shop where the staff was very friendly and there was a shop which I cannot comment on because we never used.There was a local field to walk your dog if you take your four legged friend with you just down the hill from the cottage .
