About this property

This all-encompassing cottage on the North Wales coast provides a superb place to get away with family and friends. The holiday home can be found in the destination town of Llandudno, a fantastic place to visit with beaches, a Victorian pier, and the breathtaking Great Orme that’s visible from the property’s garden. The property is dog friendly and invites up to five guests to stay, complete with sociable interiors laid out on the ground floor for slow mornings and peaceful evenings. Whether you fill your days with trips to the beach, long walks or local tourism, this mid-terrace cottage makes a superb base to centre your stay around.

There’s a real home-from-home atmosphere in this two-storey space, so head inside, kick off your shoes in the hallway and feel at home. Along with a downstairs WC and utility room, the property presents a lovely lounge/diner and next-door kitchen, creating all the room you need to relax as a five. Whilst sumptuous sofas and a Smart TV will act as your best friend throughout cold weather stays, the enclosed garden out in the back is the place to be when the sun shines. Moving back indoors, you’ll need to head up to the first floor to find three bedrooms, each as welcoming as the last.

So many Llandudno attractions are centred around Great Orme, an incredible landscape just a stone’s throw from home. Tour the splendid Bronze Age copper mines (1 mile), take a cable car ride from Happy Valley to the peak’s summit or admire the area from the ground via the famed Great Orme Tramway (0.5 miles). You’ll also find two stunning beaches within a mile from home, as well as a myriad of places to eat, shop and drink in the eclectic town centre. For guests not wanting to walk into town, the number 26 bus is the Llandudno circular which runs to the top of the Great Orme via Llwynon Rd. It runs right past Ty Mair with the bus stop just around the corner from Ty Mair. You can get the bus from the stop outside the Ormo Lounge on Gloddaeth Ave and it takes you right up the Great Orme.

Spotlessly clean and well equipped. The milk in fridge and welsh tea cakes and bara brith were really welcome, especially as we were only there for a 5 night break.

The property is really cosy and feels like home, it is very well equipped and the beds are really comfortable. The walk up and down the orme is pretty tough at first but once you get used to it, it's fine. The views are fabulous from the front and back of the house. We always managed to park near the house although we did get abuse from the neighbours, even one time when we parked right in front of the property.

Great week in Llandudno. Property clean and tidy. Plenty of plates, glasses, cutlery etc. Very homely. Wouldn't recommend for anyone with mobility issues as at the top of a hill unless you have transport to get from top to bottom. Never had any trouble getting parked no matter what time of day we came back. Even had a visit down street from the goats as they made there way to a field
