Mr & Mrs Hale
A lovely, comfortable, peaceful, relaxing cottage we enjoyed every minute. Great for a small dog. Short walk to sea, and great owners who left us milk and Welsh cakes, we shalll return soon, thank you very much x

A delightful cottage, nestled in the lovely village of Newton. We would love to stay again.

Old Norton Cottage was cosy, well equipped with an excellent, modern bathroom and comfortable bed. Although the enclosed garden was not guaranteed dog-proof we found it was fine for a small dog to be loose there under supervision which is always very helpful when travelling with pets. The cottage was also cool inside during the hotter days with the option of sitting outside in the lovely garden when we wanted to sit in the sunshine. The cottage is tucked away in the quiet village which is ideal for relaxing at the end of a busy day. But we also enjoyed being within walking distance to amenities such as shops and pubs as well as the town of Porthcawl. Having the coastal path within easy reach on foot for morning walks was a real treat.
