Discover Bala Lake 10 miles away, the largest natural body of water in Wales, and try out various water sports such as fishing, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing and white-water rafting, or spot the unique Gwyniad fish, a relic of the Ice Age. Starting from Llanuwchllyn 14 miles away, keen walkers can venture up and stroll through the excellent linear walk to the two major summits of Aran Fawddwy and Aran Benllyn.
