Hafotty Gelynen is a well-received cottage in a beautiful, rural setting, offering a peaceful retreat with stunning views. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness, comfort, and the added enjoyment of a hot tub and games room. While some minor maintenance issues and a lack of welcome gifts are noted, the overall experience is one of relaxation and enjoyment in a spacious and well-equipped environment.
The property generally receives praise for its cleanliness, with several guests finding it spotless upon arrival. However, there are comments about kitchen equipment being dirty and a few instances of overlooked areas, which slightly detract from the overall high standards of cleanliness.
The location is highly regarded for its rural charm, quietness, and proximity to local attractions like Bala and Llangollen. The scenic views and privacy contribute to a positive experience, although the access road's navigability is a minor concern for some.
Guests find the cottage comfortable, with clean and cosy beds, warm heating, and a secure garden for pets. The presence of a log fire adds to the cosiness, although some guests mention issues with low door frames and the temperature in the games room.
The facilities, including the hot tub and games room, are popular among guests, enhancing the property's appeal. However, there are several reports of maintenance issues such as broken kitchen equipment, loose toilet seats, and a need for better heating in the games room, which affects the score.
