The Druids is a characterful and spacious property, highly praised for its comfort, cleanliness, and suitability for large groups. Guests enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and the property's charm. The outdoor space and games room were highlights, contributing to a memorable stay for families and friends.

Guests consistently noted the property was spotlessly clean, with clean bedding and towels. The hot tub was also mentioned as clean and well maintained.

The property's location is appreciated for its proximity to local attractions and walks, despite some mentions of road noise. The ability to stroll to the river and the convenience to nearby towns like Llangollen were positives.

The comfort of the beds and the spaciousness of the rooms were frequently commended. The annex was particularly appreciated by those less able to manage stairs.

Facilities were generally well-received, especially the kitchen and outdoor areas. Some minor issues with maintenance and a desire for larger hot tubs were noted. The lack of instructions for appliances and the hot tub was a drawback for some.

Guests were pleased with thoughtful touches like fresh eggs and milk on arrival. However, it should be noted that such gifts are not guaranteed and may vary with each stay.

There was plenty of room if everyone wanted to sit together, and enough quiet spaces if people wanted some alone time. The bedrooms were all wonderful with really comfortable beds, everyone in our large group said how well they slept! The furniture and decoration adds so much character to the property. The annex is a great addition, especially for those who struggle with too many stairs. There is plenty to do a short drive away and a lovely farm shop a short walk down the road. There is some traffic noise from the main A road, but that's to be expected and it hardly bothered us at all. I would highly recommend this place to stay for a large group booking, it's full of character and charm. The lovely addition of a hot tub and BBQ provided wonderful evenings.

House full of character and very spacious. Very well equipped- we lacked nothing. Beds were extremely comfortable and bathrooms plentiful. We all enjoyed being able to stroll down to the river and there were lots of great walks a short drive away. We were warned about road noise but that didn’t seem bad to us. The garden was nice and the the games room being outside suited our party as those who wanted to retire early didn’t hear the noise of the competitions! There was nothing we didn’t like. A bigger hot tub would have been better though.

It has grounds big enough for games of cricket etc. We liked the fact that the games room was outside the main house, keeping the noise level down inside! It would have been good to have had a larger hot tub. The kitchen had everything we needed but it was a bit of a squash to fit our party of 20 round the dining room table. All the bedrooms were light and attractive and most had nice views. You can walk directly down to the river and there are numerous walks in stunning countryside a short drive away. We enjoyed the circular walk around Llangollen castle. Altogether our party of 3 family generations had a very enjoyable weekend.
