Snaptrip says

Ty Gwyn is a well-received cottage in North Wales, praised for its stunning location, spaciousness, and amenities like the hot tub. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness, comfort, and the owner's responsiveness. While some guests encountered maintenance issues, the majority had a positive experience, enjoying the beautiful views and the property's suitability for group gatherings.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Most guests found Ty Gwyn clean and tidy, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, a few reviews mentioned unpleasant odours and cleanliness issues with carpets, furniture, and pillows, which slightly affected the overall impression.

The cottage's location is highly praised for its breathtaking views and proximity to local attractions. It serves as an excellent base for exploring Snowdonia and the surrounding areas, with guests consistently satisfied with the setting.

Guests generally found the cottage comfortable, with spacious rooms and en-suite facilities. The provision of a hot tub added to the comfort level, although there were some comments about excessive heat upstairs and the need for more seating in the lounge.

The property is well-appointed with a hot tub and a large kitchen, but some guests reported issues with maintenance such as leaking showers and problems with the dishwasher and cooker fan. These incidents suggest room for improvement in ensuring all facilities are in good working order.

While guests have mentioned thoughtful touches like a welcome bottle of wine, there is not enough consistent information across reviews to accurately assess the level of thoughtfulness as a standard offering. Therefore, it cannot be guaranteed that such gestures are a regular occurrence for all guests.

Kitchen well stocked with pans, plates etc. Enjoyed the hot tub in the evening. Lovely and clean. Could'nt fit the stair gate and tumble dryer needs an overhaul, but would not mark the property down because of those small things. Would book again.

  • Barbara

Well maintained and spotless. The weather was beautiful too. A perfect property in a stunning location. We would definitely return.

  • Tracey
