Y Nyth is a beautifully crafted, cosy cottage praised for its spotless condition and well-equipped nature. Nestled in a convenient location for exploring North Wales, it has been thoughtfully designed to maximise space and provide a comfortable stay for couples and their pets. The inclusion of a hot tub and the provision of a welcome tray add to the charm of this rural retreat.
Guests consistently describe the cottage as 'spotlessly clean' and 'beautifully clean', indicating a very high standard of cleanliness that contributes positively to their overall experience.
The property is commended for its ideal location, suitable for day trips around Snowdonia and the North Wales countryside, with many guests expressing their satisfaction with the ease of exploring nearby attractions.
While most guests found the cottage comfortable and cosy, a few mentioned the bed being too firm or the pull-down style being inconvenient, which slightly affected the comfort score.
The cottage is well-equipped with modern fixtures and amenities for self-catering, and the hot tub is frequently highlighted as a valued feature. However, some guests noted the shower could be improved, and the privacy of the hot tub area was a concern for a few.
The hosts' attention to detail, such as considering guests' allergies and providing clear instructions, is highly appreciated. While gifts like a welcome tray are mentioned, it is noted that such gestures, though delightful, are not guaranteed.
This quirky stylish home from home with a private hot tub is ideal to explore the North Wales countryside. Take a walk around some of the beautiful surrounding lakes and enjoy the views.

Y nyth was a beautiful spotlessly clean cottage. The hosts were very pleasant and left a small video & a booklet with very clear instructions for everything in cottage. We used the map on the wall Daily it was very clear and had postcodes for places of interest. The cottage was well equipped and they took into consideration that I can't use anything with strong perfume so asked myself what products I usually use so as they didn't use a product that could affect me. It is in an ideal spot for exploring the lovely villages and small towns in Wales we would love to stay here again.

The cottage is beautiful and in a lovely quiet location. However, those with mobility issues would struggle with getting the bed out every night and the very low sofa, which we found difficult to get up from. Nice kitchen, well equipped, but once again, older guests with mobility issues would struggle with the high stools at the breakfast bar. Hot tub lovely and relaxing.

The cottage itself was lovely. Good location, hot tub and little outside space was really nice and well maintained. Decent sized kitchen, enough storage space throughout to be able to unpack properly and my partner really enjoyed the commissioned maps as decor. The only downside was the bed. It was a pull down/out 'Murphy-style', turned the sofa into a king size bed. Good idea in theory for the compact space, but the frame corners were very sharp (we got bruises) and the arms of the sofa didn't seem to be removable, so we had to shimmy up the bed from the bottom to get into bed comfortably. The mattress however was awful and gave us both sore backs. So hard and uncomfortable that we considered finding other accomation and after 2 nights. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would consider going back, if on the bed was changed.
