This exceptional cottage is situated three miles from the town of Corwen, a beautiful place to return to, with views reaching out over the open fields to countryside beyond. Wonderful glass windows ensure you can make the most of the scenery whilst relaxing indoors, with a spacious living area inviting the outside in. Open up the french doors to enjoy that warm summer breeze as you spend an hour or two at the breakfast bar admiring the exposed stonework. The bedrooms are divided between a split-level formation, each beautifully presented with en-suites, and the stunning grounds are complimented by a patio and your very own hot tub. A journey on the Llangollen Heritage Steam Railway, which has now been extended to Corwen, is one of the best ways to see the beautiful views of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in comfort. Take a horse-drawn canal boat from Llangollen and visit the unesco World Heritage Site of Pontcysyllte, Britain’s largest aqueduct. Corwen is immersed in history and heritage; learn about Owain Glyndwr, the self-proclaimed Prince of Wales, explore beautiful Rug Chapel and Langar Church, or climb through the heather to one of the most important Iron Age hill forts, Caer Drewyn, built around 800 BC. Visit the National Trust properties of Chirk Castle and Erddig, explore the atmospheric ruins of Cistercian Valle Crucis Abbey and Castell Dinas Brân. But the barn is very cozy place. Internet was an issue very slow and sometimes non exsistent. Don't let the Internet issue put you off cause this place is amazing. Clear instructions for the heating system would have been ideal. All that said and done I still rate this place of 10 out 10.
