This luxury self-catering property combines Victorian history with new 21st century luxuries and provides a large holiday home perfect for an extended family or large group. With the oldest part of the house dating back over 400 years, this impressive 5 bedroom holiday cottage near Snowdonia has been converted to the highest quality to create a light and airy holiday rental with lots of space to spread out. With gorgeous wooden and slate flooring and a stove fuelled by logs from the estate, this cottage makes a perfect retreat any time of year. The group holiday accommodation even has the luxury of a private hot tub. Cilan Farmhouse is an award winning property (2015) and is rated 5 Star by Visit Wales.

Cilan Farmhouse has a formal lounge with flatscreen LCD TV, sofas, chairs and glorious waterfront views across the River Dee and a wonderful large and airy second TV / Film Room with 50" flatscreen LCD TV (Netflix channels also available on this TV). The dining room has a table and chairs for 10 and a large log stove. The modern kitchen is fitted with granite worktops, dishwasher, microwave, electric hob & oven, large fridge and large freezer. This spacious holiday cottage sleeps 10 guests in 5 bedrooms, each with its own design and character. On the first floor is one king size bedroom and three bedrooms with super king size beds, which can be arranged as twins if required; each first floor bedroom has an LCD TV and an en suite, one of which is a Villeroy & Boch bathroom. There is a also a king size bedroom on the ground floor, with a shower room adacent. The beds are award winning beds from Burgess Beds, the bed linen is 100% Egyptian cotton and the rental includes towels and bathrobes.

Guests at Cilan Farmhouse have a large south-facing enclosed and fenced garden with frontage onto the River Dee, a glorious patio with garden furniture, a private hot tub and access to a private stretch of riverside (rentals include a fishing permit for approximately 150 metres of the River Dee). Guests also enjoy shared use of the splendid Games Lodge on the estate - with large flatscreen TV, seating, table football, table tennis and patio. There is ample parking and access to the wider estate with river frontage, woodland walks and some of the best views in Wales. There is secure bike store, facilities to wash bikes and a few essential items such as puncture repair kits, pump etc  - ideal for guests wishing to explore the local areaby bike. A separate laundry/drying room houses washing machines, tumble dryers, drying racks and other facilities.

Cilan Farmhouse is one of a group of five cottages, which can be booked together to sleep up to 30 people.
