Guests say

Guests consistently praise the cottage's cleanliness, comfort, and idyllic location in North Wales, with its proximity to Llangollen and historical sites. The property is described as cosy, well-equipped, and offering stunning views, with friendly and helpful hosts. Some minor suggestions for improvements are noted, but overall, the cottage provides a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

Reviews frequently highlight the property's cleanliness, with guests describing it as 'spotlessly clean'. This suggests a high standard of cleanliness throughout the cottage.

The location is highly praised for its beauty and convenience, with easy access to local attractions and amenities. The scenic views and historical significance add to its charm.

The majority of guests find the cottage warm, cosy, and comfortable, with a particularly comfortable double bed mentioned. However, there are comments about the firmness of the mattress and the narrow stairs, which suggests that comfort may be subjective to individual preferences.

Facilities are generally well-received, with mentions of a well-equipped kitchen and good standard of amenities. Some minor issues with maintenance, such as the shower pressure and volume control, prevent a higher score.

While the reviews indicate that the hosts are friendly and helpful, there is no specific mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches that would fall under this category. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

Had all the home comforts to make for a very pleasant stay. It was especially nice to have all the materials needed for a woodburner fire every evening. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back next time we come to this part of Wales.

The cottage was perfect for me visiting area to kayak. There was parking for one vehicle and plenty of places to leave my kayak and gear. The double bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. If there was the max 4 persons staying the cottage would have felt too small for me personally. Kitchen cutlery needs checking as there was only 1 teaspoon! Overall loved the place and would stay again.
