When you arrive, make the most of the plush sofa to relax on after your long journey, or make the most of the spacious shower before settling down for a good meal in the well-equipped kitchen. If the sun is shining, pop open a bottle of fizz and take in the rays in your private garden, perhaps eating al fresco, or just taking in the dramatic scenery from one of the sun loungers. Cam O’r Fechan lies close to the heart of Llangollen and is only a short drive away from the famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, the star of the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Castell Dinas Bran, Valle Crucis Abbey and Plas Newydd, home of the Ladies of Llangollen, are all worth a visit. Enjoy an exciting day of whitewater rafting on the River Dee, followed by a thrilling ride on a mountain bike in Llandegla, or take it easy with a visit to one of the area's many spas. Chirk Castle and Erddig, both owned by the National Trust, are conveniently close by car, and six of the "Seven Wonders of Wales" can be seen along a single day's driving route.
