Guests have consistently praised the cottage's idyllic location above the River Dee, with its stunning views and proximity to local amenities. The property is described as cosy, comfortable, and well-equipped, offering a 'home from home' experience. The welcome pack is appreciated, and the area is celebrated for its walking opportunities and dog-friendly establishments.
There is no specific mention of cleanliness in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide a score for this category.
The cottage's location is highly praised for its great position above the river, proximity to local amenities, and the abundance of walking and biking opportunities. It is described as perfectly placed for a relaxing stay.
The cottage is described as cosy and comfortable, with a well-functioning kitchen and a warm atmosphere. However, a mention of the main bedroom being quite warm on hot nights suggests a slight deduction for comfort.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with a well-equipped kitchen and a large screen TV. However, the lack of a toilet paper roll holder and the provision of only one roll of toilet paper for a week's stay indicate room for improvement.
The welcome pack containing essentials is a thoughtful touch, though it should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

The cottage is very cozy and comfortable. With gorgeous views over the river It really is a home from home. The welcome pack was very good. It is in a great location with everything on the doorstep. This was our first time visiting this gorgeous place but it certainly wont be our last.

Perfectly placed cottage, stroll to lots of nice pubs, shops and of course the river! Or just sit in the beautifully presented cottage and look at the river and castle out of the window. Perfect place to relax. Cottage had everything we needed for a family holiday with a teenager and dogs. Plus a lovely helpful owner who was very forgiving when we went home with the extremely useful parking permit. Sorry!
