Cae Bach, with wonderful far-reaching rural views, is a quirky pod located close to Cyffylliog in Denbighshire, North Wales and offers the perfect destination for a romantic getaway for two. The hilltop town of Ruthin lies to the north of Llangollen via the breathtaking Horseshoe Pass. The town is picturesque with attractive half-timbered buildings, mainly clustered around St Peter’s Square. There are many interesting shops and buildings, whilst the Nant Clwyd House (the oldest timber frame in Wales), Ruthin Gaol and Ruthin Craft Centre, which houses work by internationally recognised artists and craftspeople, are also worth a visit.

We stayed for 2 nights to celebrate my birthday. The accommodation is on a working farm and the views from the pod are incredible. We spent most of our time outdoors, relaxing in the hot tub, cooking BBQs, and enjoying prosecco by the fire. There was nothing I could complain about. Everything you could possibly need was provided, as well as a welcome basket with prosecco and chocolates. So thoughtful. We brought our dog with us, and loved that he could just run around off lead due to each pod being very secure with lots of outside space. Don't hesitate to book this place !

It was the perfect location to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Everything about the pod was perfect. It was beautifully decorated and furnished, extremely comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The outside area was stunning, the views are breathtaking from the pod and the hot tub. We loved the fire and fairy lights in the gazebo. It was the most romantic setting sitting in the hot tub with the fire blazing and lights on. Having the outside tv and Bluetooth for music was an added bonus too. The Prosecco and chocolates were a lovely welcome surprise. Having had many hot tub breaks in the past, this is 100% the best place we have ever stayed. We will recommend and definitely return.

We really found a gem here. Spectacular scenery and spectacular facilities. Jane and Huw were lovely hosts and made sure we were very comfortable during our stay. Brilliant for dogs as well, such a big area for them to play. The hot tub, outdoor kitchen and view makes this place magical. We will definitely be returning.
